I've been a fan of Jenson ever since he partnered my more favorite racer (RS) in 2000, at williams. The fact he is over 4 months older than me, made me have something in common with him. Then he left williams and joined benetton for 2 years, which became Renault in 2002. In 2003 he joined BAR for four years and this yeat they became Honda and the season as been fraught with realibity problems.

The Hungarian Grand Prix yesterday was unpredictable, thanks largely to the rain storm brewing over Budapest. Jenson had been relagated to 14 after an engine change, because his engine blew up on friday pre practice. Which saw Michael Schumacher overtake over those flags and get himself a 2 second penalty, Alonso was stuck with them because he picked up a penalty for road rage too.

Kimi Raikkonen was on pole, he led away well amidst all the other chaos. but a silly error with Luizzi saw Raikkonnen crash out. Alonso had made a very good start and got up near the front. but 19 laps from the end, and his rear suspension gave up.

From then on Jenson just needed to conserve his engine and car, and he was on his way to his first victory. Michael Schumacher made a late charge for the win but his car packed up with 3 laps to spare.

As the Journo said in the daily mail maybe ecclestone should contact the producers of the Truman Show and have rain to turn on and off!!! Similar to what happened in the Brazilian grand prix 2004!!

Yay, well done!! I too missed it, having watched every other boring F1 race this season, to go out with my parents. GRR!
