I knew Rob since he joined my workplace in November 06, but I didn't really notice him as he is too quiet. Somewhere near late January this year (and after working together on a sunday) i realised that i actually fancied him. February, i was smitten, although love was sidelined for me because i had an essay to write and move all my things (that's a lot) to my new place. Although he actually voluteered to help me get rid of my things as he had a car.
I knew we were friends from then. By the end of March, after many more philosophical conversations. I knew i wouldn't see much of him over the Easter break, so i was going to ask him out, to meet over the easter break. Of course i got a cold and he didn't want to get my germs.
After easter, we continued to talk, and about our birthdays and how we were going to have a double birthday date, somewhere between the 1st and the 6th of June. I knew if anything was going to happen it would be a slow process as he's that type.
My birthday rolled round and we went out and we had a fantastic time. His birthday came round and i got him a pressie and a cake. After that first week of June, I started to realise that i was in love, for the first (proper) time since Ryan, well Ryan had been out of my life for nearly 4 years. Of course, trying to convince him on another date would be harder. As we had been talking about what characters we would be in Fantastic Four, I said i would be invisble woman, he said he wanted to be her and i said he was Mr Fantastic. Fine. As the release of Fantastic 4 was in mid June i said 'do you wanna see it'
He didn't want too, i didn't want to rush it and i wanted to tell him i would like to be more than friends. I didn't get a response and even at the BBQ, he was distant, although i gave him space, we talked in the late evening. He gave a hint there could be something there, but i haven't heard anything from him since...........
